The Memorial at Le Conquet, France to crew 55 of Wellington HF601 which was hit by flak and ditched just off the coast here. The crew Pilot J J Owen, Navigator E H Swain, Wireless Operator A M Long and Rear Gunner J F Ray are buried at Le Conquet Communal Cemetery.
Bomb Aimer F Darbyshire has no known grave and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
